The Art of Drawing (applications closed)
This two-part course for MA/PhD students and junior curators is an intensive introduction to the art of drawing from the 15th to the 19th century that is divided between a week at the NIKI in Florence (29 Aug-4 Sep 2022) and a week at the Fondation Custodia in Paris (2-8 Jan 2023).

Summercourse: Leonardo
This BA/MA course aims at an in-depth study of the drawings, paintings, and writings of Leonardo da Vinci. Students will stay at the institute in Florence between August 16 and 27, 2022.
Masterclass: Investigating Disegno
This course for (Res)MA and PhD students examines the idea of disegno in relation to the early modern decorative arts by investigating the collection of Italian design drawings in the Rijksmuseum. In this course, students will explore the role that drawings – disegni – played in the process of creating, producing, marketing and selling the works of art fashioned by goldsmiths, cabinetmakers and other specialized craftsmen.

Nuova pubblicazione: Disegni a pietra rossa
E’ stato pubblicato il volume ‘Disegni a pietra rossa. Fonti, techniche e stili 1500-1800 ca.’ con saggi che originano dal convegno internationale tenutosi al 18 e 19 di settembre 2019 al NIKI. Questo convegno era il primo in ambito italiano dedicato unicamente ai disegni a pietra rossa.
