Utrecht Summer School 2024: The Art of Renaissance in Florence and Rome
Florence, originally founded by the Romans, was governed by the Medici family for centuries. Most of them had a passionate interest in painting, sculpture, architecture, and literature. Still Florence keeps an exceptional artistic heritage, which is marvelous evidence of its aged culture. This course offers students the opportunity to study the works of art from the Renaissance period, while staying in Florence.

Dal 7 al 9 ottobre si terrà il XIV convegno ICOJIL (International Conference on Jewish Italian Literature) al NIKI, intitolata ‘Scrittura e arte italiano-ebraiche al femminile’. Il Comitato Scientifico ha deciso di dedicare questo incontro alla letteratura italiano-ebraica e alle arti figurative al femminile.

Nella primavera del 1863, Pierre Cuypers (1827-1921), architetto olandese famoso per il Rijksmuseum e la Stazione Centrale di Amsterdam, faceva un viaggio per l’Italia.
