For the academic year 2021/22 the Institute offers a limited number of fellowships for postdoctoral researchers or Ph.D. students. These fellowships consist of up to € 350 (€ 700 for those affiliated to non-European universities) to cover travel expenses to the Institute plus free accommodation at the Institute and a place to study in the library for a maximum period of 3 months. Other solutions are possible depending on the necessity of a stay in Florence. The topic of the project should fall within the three main research areas promoted by the Institute. Fellows are supposed to devote themselves full time to their research project and to have no other obligations during the duration of the fellowship. At the end of their stay, fellows are to give a talk at the institute to present their findings.
